A Caribbean Commitment
The Nature Conservancy has pledged $20 million to support The Caribbean Challenge, an unprecedented commitment by Caribbean governments to protect at least 20 percent of their marine and coastal habitats by 2020. See how the Conservancy is helping to protect oceans and coasts for marine life and coral species worldwide.

Can Cities and Conservation Coexist?
By 2030, new urban areas will collectively create a giant city equivalent to the entire state of Texas. What does this mean for nature and people: species loss and declining natural resources such as fresh water (according to Conservancy scientists). If we do not focus our efforts in cities we will fail in our mission to protect biodiversity.
