We created this donation page because we want people a hundred years from now to be able to share the same deeply beautiful experience of nature we are encountering as we hike the Pacific Crest Trail. More than that, we want people a hundred years from now to live happily on a thriving planet. Because human life depends on a healthy ecosystem, preserving wild places is crucial to ensuring that future comes to pass.
Please consider donating one cent per mile -- we are hiking 2650 miles, so that's $26.50. Or donate whatever you can afford. Thank you for your help!

If you would like, you can add your name and a short message to our Guest Book. Thank you.
Passed you just before you got to Bunker Hill and the Wind River in the Gifford Pinchot. Finally got a chance to check out your log and you're almost to Canada. Great photos! What an amazing trip. Congrats to you both!

Thank you so much for your wonderful journal. Your photos have offered me a peek at all the amazing natural spots there are to enjoy on the PCT. I followed you from the beginning, after seeing your link on Rockin's site.
Let me know when the book gets published, I would like to get a copy.
Lot's of good wishes to both of you.

Anna and Chris,
Anna, your mom told me about your planned trip when I saw her in January and I looked forward to seeing how it went. I've been following your blog all summer. What a wonderful adventure!
Chris, I admired all your photos that Chris and John have on their wall. Many of the ones you've posted on this trip belong in a gallery, too. I hope you're planning at least an exhibition and maybe a book based on your trip.
It looks like you only have a few more days to hike. Best of luck in these last few days and enjoy whatever life brings you next.

Love the stories and pictures in the blog. Thank you for sharing your trip. Reminds me of some lesser trips and days when we camped more often. I feel inspired to renew this aspect of our lives.

Alexandra sent me the link and I was looking at all the photos and reading your blog---what pleasure it gave me and --oh---to be young again. Best to you and Chris---I look forward to following your trip and hopefully to a photo book being published some day.
