Students In Nature

As our nation races toward urbanization, fewer and fewer children have the opportunity to truly experience nature and explore all that it has to offer. That’s why The Nature Conservancy created the Leaders in Environmental Action for the Future (LEAF) program works to make a difference for some of our most precious resources -- children and nature.

In more than 19 states, the LEAF program is providing city kids, many low income, with a unique opportunity to live, work and study on a Conservancy preserve. Our goal: to equip today's youth with the knowledge, skills and passion needed to become the next generation of conservation leaders.

Today, the natural resources that give us life, keep us healthy and bring us joy are in jeopardy.

The Nature Conservancy has been working for more than 60 years to protect the precious resources we need to survive and thrive. And today, we are leading the way forward, forging innovative solutions that benefit both nature and people. Give the Gift of Nature today and help protect it for tomorrow.

* With the exception of the Adopt an AcreŽ and Adopt a Coral Reef gifts, these gifts are only symbolic and may be used in any way to support The Nature Conservancy's mission to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends.
